The Miss Nigeria USA Pageant, a non profit organization has come a long way since 2003, and those who witnessed the beginning could not have possibly anticipated the incredible growth and the national following that the pageant has achieved. We continue to be a leader in the advancement of Nigerian Women and in the cutting edge of Nigerian culture, fashion and entertainment worlds.
The
Miss Nigeria USA pageant was created to allow young Nigerian women the
opportunity to showcase their leadership qualities in other to become
strong leaders.
Additionally, the pageant was created for the following reasons: -
v To promote a cultural relationship among Nigerians residing in the United States.
v To unite young Nigerian women by fostering good relationships through friendship
v To promote democratic awareness and civic responsibility amongst young Nigerian women
v To embark upon philanthropic activities in Nigeria as well as in America with the aim of uplifting women values and concerns
The vision of Miss Nigeria USA Organization is to become a household
name domestically and internationally. We are proud to make this
opportunity available to our women across the globe. In doing this, we
shall strive; to offer a venue where young women from 18 to 26 years of
age can grow personally in poise, confidence, goal-setting, public
speaking and communication skills, physical fitness, and
self-discipline.

During the year the new titleholder will travel around the United States and Nigeria increasing awareness, educating and fundraising on behalf of the organization. The Miss Nigeria titleholder through her charitable alliances with the Tuberculosis organizations in Nigeria will assist in raising money to help people with this terrible disease by being a spoke person for the organization. The young women gathered for this pageant have put themselves on a memorable journey to becoming the best, and this experience will leave them with great memories, strong friendships and a strong sense of accomplishment.
